Green House Montessori School of the Phils., Inc. is a family owned and operated business since 2010. It has been a longtime dream of the owner to put up her own pre-school, whose dedication to help and nurture the child is already instilled in her heart. As she taught from one place to another, her dream of serving the Filipino children is her most fervent wish. With that in mind, she decided to put up the said institution with the able help and support of her family. The school is a family centered school that strives to cultivate children, as one cultivates flowers, giving them proper conditions in which to grow, spring to life and become (tomorrows) leaders of the next generation of our society. The school ensures that each child will receive the greatest treasure that nobody could steal from them – an excellent education.
Her passion for teaching young children immensely drove her to horizon in the field of education. She’s been a Montessori teacher for more than 2 decades, here and abroad. While she was employed abroad (in the United States) she attended several Montessori conferences which helped her to be knowledgeable with the system. Even though she’s already been a seasoned Montessori teacher, she took the course in 3-6 Montessori Program and Early Childhood at North Orange County Community College District in Anaheim, California.
At Green House Montessori, the trained teachers are skilled at developing specific lessons based on the child’s individual abilities and interests. Using the individualized instructions, it is extremely exciting to watch the children grasp difficult concepts and continue to improve and expand their knowledge. The children love doing the work in the Montessori classroom and are able to excel at their own personal and “natural rate of readiness”. The children are not held back from learning but instead they are like sponge absorbing everything being shown or given to them by their teachers.
