Official Statement on the Full Implementation of Face-to-face Classes
According to DepEd Order No. 34, Series of 2022, all public and private schools in the country shall transition to five-day face-to-face classes by November 2, 2022. Vice President and DepEd Secretary Sara Z. Duterte noted that schools still have until October 31st to prepare for the full transition to face-to-face classes.
Prior to this announcement, the GMS teachers and staff have been working tirelessly for the safe reopening of our school this SY 2022 – 2023. Although we are still waiting for clear and specific guidelines on the full implementation of face-to-face classes, our preparations will continue according to our initial plans and strategies to ensure the safe return to face-to-face classes.
Based on the latest DepEd Order, alternative learning modalities such as Online Learning and Blended Learning will only be allowed until October 31, 2022.
With that said, we will implement a Phase-by-Phase Approach in preparation for implementing complete face-to-face learning.
SCHOOL OPENING

School opening will not necessarily mean traditional, face-to-face learning in the classroom. We will take a careful, phase-by-phase approach for the opening of school.
Phase by Phase Approach

As always, we will comply with the government directives and work in the best interest of everyone.
